We have been full-time production potters in the Finger Lakes for 38 years, working in both porcelain and stoneware, fired to 2300 degrees. The range of our work includes: lamps, vases, bowls, platters, many shapes of ovenproof baking dishes, as well as full dinner sets. Each piece is decorated with brushwork depicting abstract and representational motifs including flowers, birds and other animals, and sailing scenes.
Barbara has a BA in Art Studio from Oberlin College, plus MA work in ceramics and sculpture from Long Island University and the University of Northern Colorado, where she studied under the noted production potter, Herb Schumacher. Eric's degrees include a BA from Oberlin and an MA plus Ph.D. study from the University of New Mexico.
Permanent signs direct visitors from Route 54A (2 miles south of Branchport) or the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. We are located one mile south of the turnoff for Stever Hill Winery.
